Skip Sizes (Quick Guide)
Pick a size that fits your job. Going one size up often saves money and time.
- 4 Yard (Midi) – Bathroom rip-out, garden waste, ~40–45 bin bags
- 6 Yard (Builder’s) – Kitchens, soil, rubble, heavy waste friendly
- 8 Yard (Maxi) – Larger refurb, bulky waste, popular all-rounder

Do You Need a Permit?
- Driveway or private land? You do not need a permit.
- Road or public land? A council permit is required. We can help arrange it.
See full details on our Permit & Recycling Info page.
Access & Driveway Prep
- Clear space before delivery. Leave at least 3m width if possible.
- Protect tarmac with boards in hot weather.
- Keep the area free of low wires or branches.
- Do not overfill. Waste must be level with the top.
No space for a skip? Our Grab Hire service can load in minutes and leave the site clean.
Recycling & What Happens Next
Your waste is taken to a licensed facility. We separate wood, green waste, soil, metal, and rubble. Landfill is the last option. This cuts costs and helps the area meet recycling goals.
